Quilt is Quilted!

I've spent the past two days getting this quilt quilted. All it needs is the binding and a label.
Here is the back; it looks great too!
Here is a close up of the quilting. I followed the wonky blocks on the front and did wonky straight-line sewing.
So this is the last quilting project I will work on for a while, as daughter and I are heading out on a road trip to the historical areas of the East Coast. We will be gone until the end of June.

I do want to post a few flower pics for my mom...

My tree peony is blooming! I have had this plant for about 7 years, and this is the first time it has bloomed!
The flower is monstrous and beautiful.
My regular peonies are looking so nice as well!

This corner is always so pretty in the spring. Lupines are one of my most favorite flowers! This purple one is a volunteer and I warmly welcome it to my backyard!
I am not sure what the shorter purple flowers are...I did not plant them. There used to be a gigantic daisy plant in this corner; once it was pulled out and moved, a lot of grasses came up. A few years ago I cleaned all the grass out, and in the spring these popped up! The bulbs must have been buried so deep, and disturbing the soil brought them back to the surface. I am happy they are there!
Here is another view of the back yard. I feel so blessed to live in such a beautiful, park-like setting.

I love the B&W quilt.
It's inspired me to take my layer cake and do something with my B&W prints!

How did you do the border?
It fits perfectly!

Love this!!! Black and white quilts are my favorite but this one really caught my eye. Might have to put my b&w to use.

I'm not sure whether I like the front or the back best. Both are beautiful!

That quilt is awesome. And so are your flowers. I've always wished my thumb were greener. Happy weekend, my friend.

The quilt is beautiful! I love colors, but the lack of color is so striking!
