Working on a Twister

These 6.5" squares have been on my mind.
They came in the box of fabric and rulers
that I bought at an estate sale last year.
Because of the warm colors, I suspect the fabrics could be
from Kansas Troubles or Thimbleberries.
I found a warm neutral in my stash and sewed up a grid.
Using a Twister template, I cut new squares...
...that make "twisters" when sewed back together!
There is lots of extra fabric leftover,
but fear not,
it will not go to waste!
I'm using these to make a pieced border!

wow, so that's how they make those. I love the color scheme. I remember when you bought them. Very nice.
